The creators of the h2. Folk Songs for the Five Points have taken the same community field-recordings approach with a project for Manchester:
Entitled Manchester:Peripheral, the website enables you to create ‘mixes’ of different field recordings from a library of samples displayed as an abstracted map of the city.
